First of all, Congratulations! This is because if you are reading this article now, then you are doing so because you have decided to make some healthy choices in life. At some point of time or other in life, we do tend to get less playful and more concerned about our health and diet. It is at such times that we decide to make some wise choices and keep that habit going for life.

Talking of changes, all of us know that it is something difficult to adopt and adapt to. This would apply specifically in cases where you are set out to make drastic changes without giving your body a chance to cope with it. Instead, you could go slow with the changes and take one step at a time till your body is ready for the final lap of change.

If you love alcohol drinks, but want to lead a healthy life, you cannot completely stop your habit of consuming alcohol by simply deciding on it. You first switch to wiser choices and limit the quantity till one day you are ready to give up on it.

When people get conscious about their health, the topics of great concern are the exercise routines and healthy diets. If you love alcohol, but are planning to go on a diet and think you can change your habits with respect to alcohol, here are some suggestions on which are the best alcohol drinks you can consume when on a diet.

Beer

This comes in two variations; namely the lite beer and the dark beer.
Let us first look at the lite beer. This is the most ideal alcohol drink when on diet. Each time you decide to have lite beer, you are adding lesser than a 100 calories to your diet. While this seems acceptable, the trouble comes only because people tend to go overboard when it comes to lite beer. They do not stop at one, but go on till the count reaches 4-6 which is not very helpful to your diet.

Talk about dark beers, instead. They are undoubtedly more calories than light beer, but the good news is that you are less likely to go overboard when opting for dark beer. So you may actually be accumulating lesser calories by making this choice.

The best way to select the beer would be based on how much control you can have over alcohol consumption.

Diet Wine

Diet wine, as the name states, is specifically made with an intention of fitting into your diet and making you less guilty. Consuming diet wine is almost like opting for lite beer since it adds lesser than a 100 calories, but just as in any other case, it is favorable only when consumed in moderation!

Bacardi

Bacardi and diet coke make a combination that is a favorite of many following a diet. Each of these contribute to only around 66 calories and hence you are adding just a few more calories compared to the lite coke.

Remember that you can be wise though you choose to consume alcohol as part of your diet plan. You only have to be wise and choose the best alcohol for yourself!
