Custom Music Boxes

For those times when you want to give someone close to you a really special gift, you hardly hope to do better than custom music boxes. Not only do these contraptions have all the special qualities of normal music boxes- they play fine, charming music and are nice to look at- custom music boxes also offer you the choice to put any music you want on there (though I doubt companies are offering pieces like “I Wanna F*#& You Like an Animal). Anyway, the little plucked notes that make up a music box song are more suited to romantic pieces. So you could put that song that holds so much meaning for you and your loved one.

Beyond the music, you can also choose what the box will look like, of course. That means, more formally, you choose the materials and the style. So if you want something that looks a bit older or more “classic”, that’s what you would choose. But you could also choose something that is a little more cute, or maybe one that just sits there with a more dignified presence.

After you’ve made that choice, you may also have the choice of color and any designs, or in the case of some wooden music boxes, you can choose the stain and the finish. These are all choices that, while they don’t equal actually handcrafting a music box yourself, have a definite effect on how the finished product will look. In that sense, it is your creation.

To take it a step further, you can also decorate your music box with some kind of object. Perhaps the ever-popular ballerina for your daughter? Or a pair of leaping dolphins for the ocean lover? The choice is up to you.

Finally, some companies can take photos you have taken yourself and incorporate them into the music box. In that case, you could put just about anything on there!
