My green eyed sister switched to a pair of deeper green colored contact lenses without telling anyone and had the best reactions. People thought she looked healthier. Some even asked if she lost weight or was in love. The subtle change had people guessing, but no one thought she simply changed her contact lenses.

contact lensesThe best part was, the colored contact lenses weren’t noticeable or fake. She was able to go about her day to day life and left the world wondering what was different.

That was enough reason for me to give them a try. I followed her plan and went with the same color contact as my eyes, just a shade more intense. I’m happy to report that the reaction was the same. People had no clue that my new look was just two tiny pieces of plastic. With this beauty boost, I find myself being more daring with other fashion choices and choosing accessories to emphasize my eyes more and more.

People who choose colored contact lenses may also want to switch eye colors rather than just intensify the color. This is a fantastic option. Choose the color you wish you were born with or make a statement with amethyst eyes. This mysterious color looks fabulous.

The ability to go from dark eyes to lighter eyes is also a possibility. With many different colored contacts on the market, choosing one that is right for you is easy. Make your brown eyes blue, or try a honey tinted contact lense for a warmer look.

After trying out my new colored contact lenses and loving the reaction, I’m going to incorporate another color into my repitore to give my fashion another boost. I wonder if anyone will notice if I’m suddenly a brown eyed girl?
