Is Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 as Good as They Say?

Well, The latest in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf series of home video games from those sports games geniuses at EA Sports has finally come out on store shelves and everyone wants to know if it is as good as all of the hype. The truth is, it is better. Reading all of the advertisement and watching all of the YouTube videos of gameplay demos just really can’t even begin to get across the amazing graphics and, literally, breath-taking sensation of interactivity this new game offering presents to the player.

Tiger Woods 11 is now available on the XBox 360, Play Station 3 and Nintendo Wii home video game platforms. There is even an iPhone version available as a download app from the the iPhone store. (You can even find some cheat codes by searching for “Tiger Woods 11 cheats for iphone“) As you can imagine, the iPhone version is only going to be able to be so realistic but, with the built in motion sensors of the phone, it should still provide a fairly realistic game, considering it is on a cell phone. Can’t you just see all the guys taking golf swings in the air while they are waiting at bus stops?

Unfortunately for owners of the XBox 360 system, this year’s offering will only be better because of the changes in the game itself such as the graphics and online game play options but, because there is not going to be any support for that system’s motion sensing controllers, they will not get to experience the game the way other player will. The PS3 folks will have a better experience this year because the Play Station Motion Controller is being supported by the game software. This will give this group a much more realistic feel when playing.

The real difference, however, comes to the owners of the Wii system. The Wii MotionPlus controller and sensor will allow the gamer to actually participate in the game from the first person. This means that they will actually see the ball, the course, the entire game if they choose, through the eyes of the character they have chosen to control. This change alone is enough to make the newest version of the game the best to come along so far.

Once you get your hands on this latest version, all you need to do now is get on your favorite search engine and do a search for “Tiger Woods 11 Cheats” and you will be set to enjoy the best game of virtual golf there is, so far.
