Many Names for the Fight Club Workout

There are many different names that are used to refer to the exercise and diet plan that is most commonly known as the Brad Pitt Fight Club workout.  While the names may differ, and even the specific details and workouts may differ slightly from one account to another, the same general diet and exercise plan was used by Hollywood actor Brad Pitt to get into shape for two movies: Fight Club and the movie Snatch.  These two movies displayed the actor at his most toned, and this has caused many people to wonder if there really is a Brad Pitt Fight Club workout and diet.  The good news is that there is.

One important thing to remember is that this isn’t just a diet or just a workout plan, but it is actually a combination of both to get maximum effect.  A high protein low carbohydrate diet that is also low enough in calories to drop extra weight is combined with a regimented weekly workout plan.  Other names for this (or parts) of this plan are: Brad Pitt Diet, Tyler Durden Workout, Tyler Durden Fight Club Workout, Tyler Durden Diet, Fight Club Diet, or any of a number of other similar variations.

The workout involves five consecutive days of workouts during the week, and the weekend is used for rest.  Monday through Thursday each day one group of muscles is concentrated on using three exercises, doing three sets of ten with the  heaviest weights you can manage to get to 30 reps.  On Friday, there is no weight lifting but one hour of cardio.

While there is no exercise on the weekend (because the body needs time to recover) a person who wants the Fight Club Workout to work at its peak needs to remain on the high protein and low carb diet provided.  Specific day to day menus can be found anyplace online that has a great Fight Club workout review.
