The promoter gets the exposure that they are looking for and you and I get our greedy little hands on free stuff.
When you visit a site that is offering freebies, you have become a potential customer. If the company is confident about the products that they provide, they assume that you will try out there warez and come back for more. This is why it has become so popular among companies to use this form of advertising, it works well. This of course can only work if you produce a product that can be sampled. For example, if you are a computer manufacturer, you aren’t going to be giving out samples. On the other hand, a company that sells candy could easily provide samples in order to promote their products.
Not only is free sample advertising a great way to attract new, potential customers but it also has another side effect, a very good side effect. Whenever anyone give something away for free, people talk about it. Whether it be free cosmetics, candy or t-shirts, if you offer it for free you are going to create quite a buzz. A buzz that attracts people to your website but that can also help your site get more natural traffic.
Often when companies offer freebies from their website, a ton of blogs and other sites write about it. They write about the offer and then link to it so that their readers can get the sample for themselves. These links begin to add up fast and help to push the companies site up the ranks in the search engines for search terms that are connected with their products. This means that long after the free samples are gone, the company will be making money from them through search traffic. This is why it has become so popular to use this form of advertising.
